Melbourne Light Parade Beneficiaries
December 11, 2021 at 6pm
A lighted night Street Parade. Sit back and enjoy the wonders of the Melbourne area as we bring the hometown feeling of Christmas to you. There will be locally made and designed floats from girls scout and boy scout groups, local businesses, churches, and other local community groups. We will have bands, ROTC groups, dance teams and much more.
Oh and don't forget Santa.
He will be arriving on a 55ft float with Mrs. Claus and their beautiful reindeer.
FOOD & TOY DRIVE
Spectators are invited to join in the spirit of giving. Just bring a non perishable food item or a new unwrapped toy or a bag of dog or cat food to the parade.
Volunteers walking along side the first float will gladly take it from you.
Everything stays in Brevard County
ROUTE
The parade starts at 1300 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd heads south on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd to Hibiscus Blvd. Turns right on to Hibiscus Blvd and heads West to Gateway Dr. Ends at Gateway Dr.

2021 GRAND MARSHAL
In Memory of Hunter Hoover
In 2013, Hunter Hoover, at the age of 13, built the Santa Float from the ground up for his Eagle Scout Project. This meant Hunter had to design, raise funds, coordinate volunteers, and manage the whole project. Hunter and his family has rebuilt The Santa Float every year since 2013. Even after Hunters sudden passing in 2020, his family continues with the tradition of building Santa's float. We are very grateful and honored by the Hoover Family ♥
We love you and Miss you Hunter
